My own project is pretty much to model and paint everything for my planned campaign. Whilst this is awesome as it' offers me the chance to create everything in my own style and so forth, it also sucks balls cos at the best of times I'm a slow arse painter and so after 2 months, I've only 5 models done. Out of 5 player teams (each at least 5 members strong.) and my own selection of Xenos and human NPC's, that's not a lot.
But i'm plodding along at it and am quite enjoying the variety of stuff and schemes I am working on, so hopefully the usual burn-out I get out of attempting to paint my Space Marines and so forth won't settle in.
If any are interested (And seeing as this forum is a quiet one, I doubt any will be.), I keep a blog of my =][=munda painting adventures - feel free to offer crituques and so forth should you visit.

PS - and no, no-one else paints in my gaming group cos they are:
a. lazy bastitches
b. crap at painting
