Lets try to spark some life into this here forum. Here they are Doom, just as I promised. Will work on putting some paint on the completed gang soon. These following pics are for a Radical Xenos Inq Cell I am working up for my brother. First up the Inquisitor. Bonus points if you can tell me the base model. Next up, Tech Adept and a young Dire Avenger Exarch. Both mostly straight up. The Adept has a Shoulder Mounted Bolter instead of the standard Servo-Arm. Rest of the gang. First is an Assassin Conversion made from a guardian, then an Acolyte with a custom made stubber. Fancy, I know, right? Last up, straight kit bash of Cadian Command Sprue, a scum, using his gunfighter abilities. Last up, something for me. Set of Gue'Vesa Legs I am working on for my Void Pirates/Xenos Kill Team Got to have big buildings, so I started one. Wanted a building that was more intact, and multi-level, but still playable. Stage 1 Stage 2

Those are cool Fosner. I think the assassin and Inquisitor are my favorites of the bunch. The only thing I think that looks off is the clip on the autopistol.

You are right. I tried fixing it by adding a collar around where the clip meets the gun. But now I look at it and it just looks off. Any suggestions on what I should do?
I hate how the flassh and the close-ups pick out all the flaws in your greenstuff work. The Gue'vesa legs look so much cooler in person. Also the detail on the =I= looks so much better in person. The camera just does not pick up some things.
Those two models are also my favorites, I think it is because the are about as close as I can come to doing a complete scratch build. They are cooler than my own warband that I am using, lol.

I would try angling it more forwards (90 degree or slightly forward) instead of back. Then I would greenstuff the collar futher down to blend the sword guard in alittle more. Or instead of a magazine you could always make a drum...because drums make everyone cooler

That'd probably be your best bet. Take a page from the Mauser book maybe?

I tried something I kept the angle, but I smoothed out the collar, so it looks like an extension of the assembly, instead of an additional part. I also trimmed down the top, so it looks less like a lasgun. I will try to get up a picture tomorrow. I think I am going to force myself to work on GW stuff tomorrow.

Okay, quick question. I want to throw some paint on the Inquisitor, but, I do not know what color to do it in. I keep thinking purple, but I always do purple. I don't want to do black, because I can't get it to look good. The eldar I plan on doing in a Purple and Orange, but with Inquisimunda, your guys do not have to look like they belong together, which is a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Ive always been partial to red and gold colors for my Inquisitors. A white tabard would offset it pretty good.

Apologize for the low res, it was from my cell phone on my way to work because I wanted to be able to put an update in as I went. This is just a test base coat. Not two sure if I like the white on the boots, what do others say?

I like the dark red but am not sold on the white boots either. I would go with a darker color or black.

I was going to go back and hit the boots with red, because they are plate boots, but I was going to leave the heel cup the off white. Another question, any idea on what to paint the Shuriken Pistol and power sword? Can't think of any color to match the current color armor, other than black, and I hate painting things black. The other option I was thinking of was a Bone White Layering Effect. Going up to Skull White. So it is not the same color as the Off White.
Should have a little treat hopefully tomorrow. Got a few more conversion to put up. Once again, not for me, but what can you do.

Painted up a Megasaur to use in some games. Just a riderless Cold One. But I like how it turned out. The Scales tend to blend into the back drop. Sorry about that. The undershot is so you can see the blending to white on the belly.
